Hartshorne Sandstone

Sandstone, tan to gray to white, fine- to coarse-grained, micaceous, quartzose, moderately to well-indurated, with some interbedded gray shale; "Lower Hartshorne coal" in middle and "Upper Hartshorne coal" at top; thickness, 100 to 350 feet, increasing eastward.
