Jason Church and David W. Morgan represented NCPTT at the Louisiana Preservation Alliance annual meeting, held May 5, 2007 in Monroe, Louisiana. Church offered practical advice on the care and preservation of grave-markers in the oral presentation, “Who’s Taking Care of Grandpa’s Grave.”
Additionally, Morgan spoke to the conference participants about contested cultural heritage issues and National Register properties in Louisiana, providing practical examples from the Cane River National Heritage Area, and he discussed the preservation merits of the upcoming Prospection in Depth 2007 training workshop scheduled for June.
