Civil War Academic Round Table

On May 2 & 3 Cane River Creole NHP will be hosing two free events commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War’s Red River Campaign.

On Friday May 2 the public is invited to attend our Civil War Academic Round Table. This event will take place at the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT). This all-day event will feature presentations from scholars, museum professionals, and local historians.

On Saturday May 3 the park will be hosting an event at the Magnolia Plantation Unit. This event will feature speakers, music, and demonstrations from 10AM to 4PM.
