One episode of Yosemite NP’s Study the Scientist series focuses on the work of historical architect George Jaramillo.  Jaramillo works for the branch of History, Architecture, and Landscapes within the Resources Management and Science Division.  He joined the Yosemite team in 2008 with a background in architecture, historic preservation, and sustainable development.  Before beginning his career in the Federal government, Jaramillo worked in New York City’s architectural office for three years.  He is a graduate of Columbia University’s Historic Preservation program and Cornell University’s School of Architecture Planning and Preservation.
