Acoma “Sky City’

The Alliance for Historic Landscape Preservation will hold its 2010 annual meeting “Enchanted Landscapes: Exploring Cultural Traditions & Values” April 21-24, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The conference will include discussions organized around paper presentations, summaries of works-in-progress and poster presentations.  Afternoon tours will  include Los Poblanos, Old Town, La Bajada Acequia (New Mexico Route 1), and Acoma Pueblo.   For more information visit

    It is good to see importance being placed on preserving historic landscapes. They can deteriorate quickly without proper attention and protection. Keep up the good work :)

    This is a good news, hopefully they can be more active and provide innovative ideas to keep the preservation of cultural traditions and historical values. And the results can be Socialize to the public on the importance of cultural preservation because it is the nation’s identity

    It’s refreshing to see a focus on preserving cultural tradition and landscapes in this country, as it is too often the opposite situation. With so much emphasis on new construction, we can lose sight of the true value of historic places and buildings.
